The election is over, but targets continue to be added to Trump supporters' List of Grievances apace. Public enem No. 1: PepsiCo, whose CEO said her employees are "in mourning" over Trump's election.
Nooyi went on to condemn the way Trump has spoken about women in a conversation that also addressed domestic violence issues in the NFL. There is no place for such language, she said, “not in locker rooms, not in football players’ homes, not in any place.”
So Trump supporters are urging each other to boycott PepsiCo products. If you're not for open misogyny, Pepsi, we'll just take our open misogyny elsewhere!
Next up: GrubHub. GrubHub stepped in it when their CEO sent an email reminding company employees that behavior demeaning to minorities, immigrants, and others has "no place" in the company even if it "worked for Mr. Trump." How dare you sir, and so forth—and the deplorables will be boycotting them too, because a company that doesn't demean minorities is not one they will be doing business with.
And also Oreos, because Trump yelled at Oreos, and Netflix because reasons, and the NFL because black players keep doing things other than simply entertaining them, and so forth.
The master keeper of this list, a pseudonymous "WhiteChristianMan,” appears to be fully enmeshed in the language and reasonings of the white nationalist "alt-right."
If Trump supporters truly end their usage of all products that have opposed Trump, they’ll be left with the companies WhiteChristianMan suggests they support, such as Yuengling beer, Hydrox Cookies, NASCAR, the WWE, Carl’s Jr./Hardee’s, Dominos Pizza, Chick-fil-A, and Home Depot.
There ya go. All of those companies there are proud supporters of Trump's white nationalist base, sez that base, and so Official Internet Cretins should feel free to support them.
Now, if you're not a white nationalist, you may have other ideas on which companies deserve support and which don't. It's entirely up to you. We're just throwing that out there.
