David Cay Johnston has been reporting on Trump for 28 years and knows him very, very well. "He [Trump] has the psyche of a 13 year old boy in a 70 year old man's body."
Johnston will continue his reporting but knows now that Trump has the power, at any time, to sweep him off the streets and held incommunicado. He reminds us that habeas corpus is a privilege not a right. It can be revoked and has been revoked in our history, as Lincoln did during the Civil War, for instance. He urges non-violence to prevent giving Trump any excuse, peaceful protest no matter how the bigots and racists act out.

From my studies of Gandhian non-violence, it is imperative that we find our own swadeshi, local production, what Gandhi called "the soul of satyagraha." For him, it was spinning thread on a wheel, the charkha, for khadi cloth, a direct economic substitution and challenge to British rule.
The economic as well as meditative aspects of Gandian swadeshi can be updated, I believe, into a solar swadeshi. In fact, as someone who has used affordable small-scale solar for the last decade and longer, a solar swadeshi is practical now and becoming more affordable every day. Here's one way we could bring Solar Electric Power to the People and begin to put a solar swadeshi into practice:
