Bessie Coleman was the First Black Female (Stunt and Aviation) Pilot and the first person to receive an International Pilot's License.
1) Bernie Sanders always flies coach.
2) The remaining Eagles plus Jackson Browne are planning to perform a tribute at Monday night's Grammies to Glenn Frey, one of the founding members of the beloved band.
3) There is currently a petition that was started since the NH delegates were awarded in Hillary's favor, demanding that the superdelegates vote the will of the people. In 24 hours it already has close to 150,000 signatures.
4) Hours of looking at "Blue Light" from your mobile device can strain your eyes and mess up your sleep. Apple is working on a solution.
5) What great American invention will they think of next? Can't hassle putting on insect repellent? No worries! They've come out with Deet infused clothing. Keep your friends close, and your poisons closer.
6) Christiane Amanpour became a journalist by accident. The 11 time Emmy winner was born in London, and grew up in Teheran.
After the war, there were not many opportunities in Iran, and she went to London with her sister.
Her sister enrolled in Journalism school, but realized that it wasn't for her.
Amanpour went to the college to try and get her sister's money back. When she learned that she couldn't get her investment back, she didn't want the money to go to waste, so she asked if she could take the course herself. Thus, a journalist was born.
7) Candidates have been spending "YU-U-UGE" amounts of your campaign donations at Dunkin' Donuts. So far, this Primary Season, Hillary is in the lead, having spent $1886; "Jeb!" is a distant second at $402; Bernie at $238; and Trump at a measly $10. No statistics were provided on the other candidates.
One thing is evident. Hillary must have money to "bern".
8) The day after the New Hampshire primary, Bernie Sanders went to New York City to appear on The View, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
I have never seen so many young men or millennials (of either sex!) in their audience! They were all extremely excited and broke into a rousing chant of, "Bernie! Bernie! Bernie!"
Then, Raven-Symone presented Bernie with a pint of (avid Bernie supporters) Ben & Jerry's new ice cream flavor.
Surprisingly, the flavor is not named "Feel the Bern", but "Bernie's Yearning". On tasting it for the first time, Bernie was truly impressed! He went back for a second bite, saying, "Excellent!
9) The final member of the Oregon Militia at Malheur Wildlife Preserve peacefully surrendered today.
10) Frank Sinatra was originally cast as Dirty Harry.
11) Harry Belafonte has endorsed Bernie Sanders.
For some reason, maybe just to confuse Black Voters, the Congressional Black Caucus PAC has endorsed Hillary Clinton.
Do not confuse this with the ACTUAL Congressional Black Caucus! This is the mostly unelected PAC which “supports” the CBC.
Keith Ellison, member of the Congressional Black Caucus has endorsed Bernie Sanders, and tweeted this about the CBC PAC endorsing Clinton:
"Cong'l Black Caucus (CBC) has NOT endorsed in presidential. Separate CBCPAC endorsed withOUT input from CBC membership, including me."
via Bob Bartlett:
"For the record, the Congressional Black Caucus did NOT endorse Mrs. Clinton.
The SuperPAC of the Congressional Black Caucus endorsed Mrs. Clinton. The SuperPAC is made up of 46 African-American members of Congress. The SuperPAC itself was split on the decision. Only 40 of the 46 showed up for the announcement…at Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s Democratic National Headquarters.
The SuperPAC made the decision after a vote from its 20-member board. The board includes 11 lobbyists, seven elected officials, and two officials who work for the PAC. Branch confirmed that the lobbyists were involved in the endorsement, but would not go into detail about the process.
Members of the CBC PAC board include Daron Watts, a lobbyist for Purdue Pharma, the maker of the highly addictive opioid OxyContin; Mike McKay and Chaka Burgess, both lobbyists for Navient, the student loan giant that was spun off of Sallie Mae; former Rep. Albert Wynn, D-Md., a lobbyist who represents a range of clients, including work last year on behalf of Lorillard Tobacco, the maker of Newport cigarettes; and William A. Kirk, who lobbies for a cigar industry trade group on a range of tobacco regulations.
And a significant percentage of the $7,000 raised this cycle by the CBC PAC from individuals was donated by white lobbyists, including Vic Fazio, who represents Philip Morris and served for years as a lobbyist to Corrections Corporation of America, and David Adams, a former Clinton aide who now lobbies for Wal-Mart, the largest gun distributor in America."
via Raw Story: "Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA) emphasized in an interview on Thursday that Hillary Clinton’s endorsement by the Congressional Black Caucus PAC does not constitute one from the caucus itself."
“The Congressional Black Caucus PAC is a PAC that supports candidates,” Lee told Democracy Now host Amy Goodman. “It raises money, and it helps candidates win elections. And there’s a clear distinction between that—as I said earlier, we have a Republican in the Congressional Black Caucus. That has nothing to do with the Congressional Black Caucus PAC.”
"Lee added that she is not a member of the PAC, and repeated her assertion that “there’s a clear firewall. There’s a clear distinction.”
"The congresswoman’s statement came shortly before fellow Rep. Keith Elison (D-MN) — who has endorsed Clinton’s Democratic primary opponent, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) — responded to the PAC’s support of the former Secretary of State by stating on Twitter that caucus members were not consulted regarding the issue."

"Former Isis Sex Slaves have formed an All-Female Battalion, "Sun Ladies", to launch a massive assault on Isis.
The Yazidi women – who call themselves the 'Force of the Sun Ladies' – have taken up arms in the quest for revenge but also to preserve the future of their race.
They are among around 2,000 captives who have escaped their terrorist tormentors who subjected them to horrific torture and rape and massacred thousands of their loved ones after storming their villages in the summer of 2014.
Now, driven by a collective desire for vengeance, the battalion is preparing for an offensive on the ISIS stronghold of Mosul where many were exchanged by militants to serve as their sex slaves.
More than 100 Yazidi women who have trained with the Kurdish Peshmerga forces which are preparing to attack Mosul, with another 500 waiting to follow suit."

*NOTE* - Please understand that I do not claim to be a “journalist”. I am only passing on bits of information, which others have researched, that drift through my awareness, on any given day. I watch, read and listen to any number of different news and entertainment sources, and it’s more than anyone could possibly intake and retain in a day, so I created this little daily “cheat sheet” for myself, so that I could remember all these oddball facts. Then I decided to share these tidbits, and thus was born the Daily TILT. I do this for fun, so I hope you enjoy it.

**NOTE: I purposely do not include links or photos in the TILT. The idea is to not have one story be highlighted above all the others. And sometimes links can be stressful. I, myself, sometimes get conflicted when presented with too many choices, so I thought I'd save you the trouble of having to make any of those types of decisions for a few minutes, while you read the Photo and Link-Free TILT!
I encourage you to further research any story that interests you, though. They are easy to Google.
