I thought this was the perfect symbol of what a Hillary Clinton Presidency would look like.
Today at noon in DC, Hillary’s campaign chair, John Podesta, is leading a briefing and Nevada victory brunch — in the home of his brother, the notorious lobbyist Tony Podesta. With an ABC (mainstream media) chef, as frosting.
This is the same Tony who lobbied on behalf of PhRMA to block generic HIV/AIDS drugs in Africa, poisoning the first Clinton Administration’s position on this. Anthony had lucrative contracts from PhRMA. He convinced the White House to threaten South Africa with economic sanctions if it imported low-cost generic drugs from India. Does it get any more sick, to take money from big corporations in order to deprive poor Africans from medicine for HIV/AIDS? (Is this an issue for the LBGT community here? For the African-American community? Or do we not give a shit because it was in Africa, or maybe because we pretend it “would never happen again” until it does?) And we’re supposed to ‘celebrate’ at this sick fuck’s house? Along with his brother, Hillary’s campaign Chair, John Podesta? Wtf. I’ve seen people say: “Oh, that’s not John, that’s his brother Tony.” Well, they are tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum.
A friend forwarded me the announcement, sent to her by her Clinton fund-raiser friend:

Who has $2,500 to spend on a lame 2-hour brunch with corporate-political power-brokers?
Oh, corporations and other lobbyists, right.
Wtf. Everyone making less than $100,000/year (and those with a soul who make more than that) should be lined up 100% behind Bernie Sanders. Every other issue pales in comparison, and MUCH bigger and faster progress will be made on every other issue (race, ethnicity, gender, preference, etc.) if Sanders is elected.
Hillary Clinton will be more of the same — literally. John and Tony Podesta were a one-two punch during the first two Clinton Administrations, and they would be again if Hillary is brought back into the White House.
