[...]
After the vote, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) fired at the GOP.
“Tonight, House Republicans made themselves accomplices to hiding President Trump’s tax returns from the American people," she said.
“Our security and our democracy have been endangered by Russia’s clear influence on the Trump Administration. The American people deserve the truth about Russia’s personal, political and financial grip on President Trump. If there’s nothing there, then what are Republicans afraid of?
IOW: “If Trump doesn’t have anything to Hide — then what is he SO Afraid of …?”
… as so many Republicans used to lecture us, not so long ago. “What’s The Problem!?”
Of course, his obstinate refusal to disclose his entangled investments, means OBVIOUSLY there’s something he DOESN’T want us see. Otherwise they would already be in the public domain.
Could it be that he still is betting on certain companies and sectors (since he really didn’t think he was going to win, anyways)? Investments like these, which Donald Trump had bet on, just in the last few years.

Maybe he still is privately betting on some of these, given all his pro-Russian statements, within the last year?
There could be hornets nest of conflicting interests in such a “hidden” portfolio. How would anyone really know … as long it stays “private” and no one in the public “is allowed to question it”?
Just “Trust em” — yeah right! (Where is the “Verify” part of that equation?)
