If Trump Could Rhyme and Tell the Truth
My fellow Americans:
Ever since the Affordable Care Act
became the pivotal law of our land,
we Republicans have tried to destroy it my friends,
in every single way that we can.
We knew that attacking it would help our party,
so we discredited it loud and clear.
We vilified every aspect of it,
more fervently with each passing year.
I’ve made my own bones bashing Obama,
which sounds racist, but you know that it’s true.
And, you voted for me despite what I ranted,
which speaks volumes about me and you.
But, now we are at a terrible impasse,
because you won’t let Obamacare go.
It’s too good of a plan, which you finally get,
although we thought you were too dumb to know.
Paul Ryan’s ACHA was really a stinker
because he’s truly a very bad chap
He despises the poor and immigrants too,
which I may say, but I think is crap.
And, Mitch Connell’s the worst, but then you must know this,
He stole a Supreme Court seat, my God,
His lies even trump mine, which is really astounding,
I wonder how he keeps his job.
We all are to blame for this terrible health plan,
but, I’m won’t agree to destroy Medicaid.
The ACA makes our bill seem cruel and stupid,
and it’s time to stop this awful charade.
Mitch, Paul, and Mike Pence need to reclaim their own souls,
from the swamp that we promised to drain,
If they don’t see the evil that we’ve perpetrated,
then they have only themselves to blame.
So, please call your senators this weekend my friends,
and tell them that you’ve changed your mind.
You won’t support a bill that hurts those who are ill,
and punishes the disabled and blind.
I’ve made some bad choices up to this point,
but destroying people’s health care is wrong.
My base may desert me, but they, too, need to change,
or this will be our final swan song.
Sincerely yours,
President Donald Trump
