Received this e-mail today from U.S. Senator Jon Tester’s (D. MT) re-election campaign:
The President's decision to withdraw from the Climate Change Agreement has put us in some questionable company. Only Nicaragua and Syria refused to sign the agreement.
Not to mention that by withdrawing, we're ceding the next generation of innovation in cleaner technology to China, Saudi Arabia, and Europe.
Montana's top industries are agriculture and outdoor recreation. Montana farmers (like me) deal with the consequences of climate change every day. We can take responsible action to protect ourselves from climate change and create jobs in the process.
The President's decision could set us back.
Join me in calling for responsible action on climate change. Sign the petition.
Thanks.
Jon
