At Tuesday night’s debate between Jon Ossoff and Karen Handel in the race for Georgia’s 6th Congressional District, Ossoff said that “the minimum wage should be a living wage.” Handel, apparently on purpose, had this to say:
“This is an example of the fundamental difference between a liberal and a conservative: I do not support a livable wage,” she said on Atlanta’s WSB-TV in response to a viewer question about raising the minimum wage. “What I support is making sure that we have an economy that is robust with low taxes and less regulation.”
“I do not support a livable wage.” That is a thing Karen Handel said out loud. Give her credit for honest, I guess?
Does she not realize that low taxes will only get you so far if you only make $7.25 an hour? Never mind. We’re talking about a Republican politician in the year 2017. She doesn’t care about low-wage workers.

Can you chip in $3 to help elect a candidate who thinks the minimum wage should be a living wage?
