As Rachel Maddow pointed out tonight, all the Nazis who attended the Charlottesville rally were caught on camera. They are being identified. Homeland security should be able to identify all of them.
Who would feel safe on an airplane with any of these people?
The current occupant of the White House says we have to keep terrorists from traveling freely, and we need extreme vetting procedures.
I understand these people have the rights of citizenship. But the Nazis have proven they are violent and dangerous citizens. DOJ says it will start a civil rights investigation, but that doesn’t affect travel. If a group of American Muslims went around openly carrying weapons, advocated enslavement of Americans, and started rallies that resulted in the death of innocent people, would the guy in the White House sit back and talk about the new high in the stock market? Would he at least put those people on a no fly list? Or insist on DHS examining their phones and computers before allowing them to travel? Would DHS at least tell us how they planned to contain the threat? I don’t get the same sense of urgency here.
