Hillary Clinton rightly points out that, ‘if the shoe were on the other foot, and she had won a narrow Electoral College win — she would be calling for an Independent Investigation with subpoena power, to get to the bottom of the Russian Influence in our last election.’ [around 05:20]
Hillary Clinton: “I would have Stood Up and Stood against it.”
THIS is NOT Happening.

Clinton: Putin wants to destabilize democracy worldwide
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton talks with Rachel Maddow about her personal history with Russian president Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump's weak response to revelations of Russian interference in the American democratic process.
Here’s a partial Transcript, which I just jotted down to pique your interest, but the whole segment is well worth listening to.
[about 06:00]
HILLARY CLINTON: ... Transparency would be the best way of undermining Putin. We now know they [Russia] were sowing discord during the Election with phony groups on Facebook. They were running anti-immigrant, anti-Hillary Clinton demonstrations. They were putting out all this fake-news. All these negative stories that were untrue -- to really divide people.
So if your government were to say, 'you know what were gonna get to the bottom of this. We may have our disagreements, among Americans — were not going to let the Russians come in and Divide Us'. And so, were going to make Facebook own up to everything. They've just begun to 'own up'. They have a long way to go before they get to where they need to be, in my opinion.
Other Tech Companies: were going to go after these 'Provocateurs'. These Russians posing as Americans. These content-farms in Macedonia. These thousand trolls. These tens of thousands of bots. Because you know what, we have every right to have a vigorous debate in America, but we don't want it being interfered with and suborned, by Putin and his allies.
So I think, if we had done that -- you know there still would be some naysayers -- but we would bring the country together around this.
What's the Trump Administration doing? We have a phony commission, looking at Voter Suppression -- which is not a problem.
MADDOW: you mean Voter Fraud?
CLINTON: -- Voter Fraud -- not a problem. So they want to suppress more Votes, particularly among African Americans and young people, because they don't think they'll Vote for their kind of Candidate.
So this phony commission is trying to get all this Voter Data. We know they're 'in bed' with Big Data Companies, like Cambrige Analytica and the like. What are they going to do with that Data? How are they going to use it? I am very concerned.
A President who wanted to be a President of ALL the Country, would be investigating what the Russians did to us; would be going as far as to find out -- not just what they did to influence Voters -- but what they did, going into our Voter Rolls? Going into the personal emails of Election Officials.
I'm proud of Virginia for stopping to use -- the Computer-touch Voting Machines, because they're so vulnerable to hacking. Everybody in every state should be asking themselves that -- led by a committed Federal Government.
That is not happening.
Also, this Maddow Interview segment was pretty good too — Clinton’s take on James Comey … (Not really the “sour grapes” griping — that the GOP would have us believe ...)

Clinton: Comey a reliable witness on Trump Russia case
In another Tech-oriented interview Hillary gave to the Code conference in May, she discussed similar Election Disruption themes, by foreign 'Provocateurs'.
from Mediaite.com
When asked by co-Host Walt Mossberg about the “lies” surrounding “fake news,” Clinton replied:
Lies? You’re really … that’s a good word too [laughter and applause]. The other side was using content that was just flat-out false, and delivering it in a very personalized way, both sort of above the radar screen and below. And you know, look, I’m not a tech expert by any stretch of the imagination. That really influenced the information that people were relying on. And there have been some studies done since the election that if you look — let’s pick Facebook. If you look at Facebook, the vast majority of the news items posted were fake. They were connected to, as we now know, the 1,000 Russian agents who were involved in delivering those messages.
They were connected to the bots that are just out of control. We see now this new information about Trump’s Twitter account being populated by millions of bots. And it was such a new experience. I understand why people on their Facebook pages would think, “Oh, Hillary Clinton did that, I did not know that. Well that’s going to affect my opinion about her.” And we did not engage in false content. We may have tried to put every piece of information in the best possible light, and explanations, but we weren’t in the same category as the other side.
Clinton also reminded her audience that “seventeen agencies, all in agreement, concluded with high confidence that the Russians ran an extensive information war campaign against my campaign to influence voters in the election,” and claimed that they “could not have known how best to weaponize that information unless they had been guided.
[Emphasis added.]
As I’d stated in several other posts, these back-room attacks on our form of Democracy, should rise to the level of a “National Emergency.”
Hopefully with Hillary Clinton, leading the call for action, these topics will finally get the attention they deserve.
… “Were not going to let the Russians come in and Divide Us” anymore.
Putin wants to Destabilize Democracy …
Let’s not forget that. Let’s see to it, that Vlad’s current victory, is a Temporary victory.
