The ACA is again under attack and time is running out. The vote on the Cassidy-Graham bill will happen on or before September 30. Make those calls; don’t let up on the pressure. At the same time, we must support The Medicare for All Act of 2017. This is a significant step forward in the fight for a Single Payer National Health Program. Taken together with the Expanded & Improved Medicare for All Act (H.R. 676), we have the potential to reform the U.S. healthcare system in a way that is long overdue.
Artist Daniel Vincent Bigelow and Kimberly J. Soenen are taking on this issue with some striking art work that needs to get more attention. The image above is just one of these works and is dedicated, as stated by Soenen, “to all who continue to advocate for National Improved Medicare For All as a cultural, social, economic, moral and ethical value to which civilized societies assign fiscal priority.” Other works can be found at https://nationalimprovedmedicareforall.threadless.com/
