Funny thing happened to me today. I searched the news-wires for “Michael Cohen” — and there was next to nothing there …
Except this:
For a time, Michael Cohen's name was splashed across national headlines. Now he appears to be laying low.
[...] — it makes me think of Michael Cohen," said host Nicolle Wallace, referring to the president's former attorney who is known to be under federal investigation. "He's suddenly quiet. Is he acting this week right now like a potentially cooperating witness?"
"You bet he is," [Chuck Rosenberg, a former U.S. attorney] replied. "Now, he's situated differently, of course, because he might end up being a defendant rather than just the witness. But right, the silence you hear from him is deafening. The reason you're hearing silence, I think, is because he's cooperating. He was asked the same thing: Tell us the truth and don't talk to anyone else. And guess what? he's not talking to anyone else. I think it's a very good guess."
[...]
That’s a lot of nothing — since this little News-nugget:
Cohen claims Trump knew in advance of 2016 Trump Tower meeting — July 27, 2018
It proven true … There goes the Trump cover-up denial storm.

Wait a sec, this too, this ‘honorable mention’ was in today’s Cohen news-feed:
Cohen refusing to comment on the Stormy Daniels case …
Say what?
Lanny Davis, an attorney for Cohen, told the newspaper [WSJ] that he cannot comment on "any matters even possibly remotely related to those that might be under investigation," as a result of advice of counsel.

That’s odd. What up with that? There was a time not too long ago, he wouldn’t shut up about it.
Perhaps, just perhaps … Michael is busy talking, just in confidence … aka “cutting a deal” …

[...] But, according to a lengthy report that Buzzfeed published last month, “FBI agents investigating Russia’s interference in the election learned that Cohen was in frequent contact with foreign individuals about Trump Moscow — and that some of these individuals had knowledge of or played a role in 2016 election meddling.”
Mueller may also be interested in clearing up the issue of whether Cohen visited Prague in 2016, and met with people connected to Russia, as was alleged in the Steele dossier. [...]
A third area of interest may be Cohen’s role in pushing a Russia-Ukraine peace plan that was hatched by a Ukrainian politician, Andrey Artemenko, [...] It has been reported that Cohen gave a copy of this plan to Michael Flynn, Trump’s national-security adviser, a week before Flynn got fired because he lied about contacts he had with the Russian ambassador to Washington, Sergey Kislyak.
[...]
Finally, there are any other business dealings that Cohen may have been involved in on Trump’s behalf. [...]
Oh yeah, then there’s the payoffs to Stormy Daniels, Karen McDougal — and only Michael knows — who all else?
Let’s hope Cohen is cutting a deal — that’s the least he can do to “repay the guy”, who hung him out to dry. To defend himself, using only his own wits and resources.
What else is a disavowed “Fixer” to do? … Go to Jail, for the Dirt-bag’s crimes?
