Latest word is jury wants to go until 6:15 tonight. It is usually impossible to guess what a jury might be doing, but this is a more positive sign. With the massive evidence, an acquittal (by the whole jury) seems almost impossible. A hung jury with one or two holdouts, possibly politically motivated, is possible, and in this case perhaps quite possible, but if that were the case they would be telling the judge they can’t decide, not to let them go a little later.
So it sounds like they feel close to an agreement, and if that is the case it probably means a conviction on some counts is very likely.

Well — nothing today. But the fact that the jury was working late still suggests they were getting close to agreement on something, and that likely means conviction on at least some counts. Although juries are not supposed to compromise, it routinely happens, and it may be that some reluctant members are being convinced to vote for conviction on at least a few counts. Since most sentences are imposed concurrently, in the end it doesn’t matter whether conviction is for one or two counts or many, except that on appeal convictions on multiple counts give more opportunity to affirm.
