That was rather a frightening rant.
There are people who use science-based medicine and become cured of a cancer. Some die. It is also true that some people quietly choose to use what they might call a natural approach and are cured. Some of these die. Do I have the right to choose natural medicine as my means of treatment? May I choose a treatment that may not work but will afford me the ability to self-treat with dignity? I understand that you believe that science is truth and that any nature-based method of treatment must, therefore, be quackery. I don’t believe this is so. Certainly, there are purveyors of natural “cure-alls”. This does not prove that all nutritional or “natural” methods must be false or without merit. But my bigger concern has more to do with the freedom to choose. I believe you are a defender of political rights and freedom in an open society. So I’m pretty surprised at your attack upon persons who choose a different path than you. Thank you.
