Donald Trump’s energy secretary Rick Perry joined the human race on Wednesday night, and in doing so may have signaled his imminent departure from the Trump administration. Perry told reporters at the CERAWeek by IHS Markit energy industry conference in Houston Perry said that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), should not be rebuked for pushing the Green New Deal. “I don't think the representative should be castigated or pushed aside just on the face of her comments relative that she wants to live in a place with clean air and water. So do I."
Perry suggested a blanket rejection of the Green New Deal would be counterproductive to the goal of addressing climate change, which he has apparently grown in his job, and changed his mind on. “I would rather be agreeable,” Perry said. "Life is too short to be pissed off all the time.”
Meanwhile the state of Texas is wondering when the Skrulls replaced the long time climate change denier.
