I had a wonderful interaction with Bernie's campaign last week that I wanted to share with you all.
I contacted it to encourage him to try and attend Netroots Nation, which he couldn't, due to a scheduling conflict. I identified myself as a donor and told them that I had volunteered for him in 2016, and I expressed my concerns about him not attending (I left a voicemail for the campaign and I emailed them at info@berniesanders.com). Even though I am out-of-state, I received an email reply from them the same night and a phone call from them the next day, in which they thanked me profusely for my concern, for contacting them, and assured me that they'd pass my suggestion that he attend "up the chain". I've interned in Congress and volunteered for many campaigns, both online and in-person, since 2008 and I've never encountered such a prompt and courteous response! I highly encourage you all to contact the campaign with your thoughts, concerns, suggestions and ideas! Here's how to contact the campaign, via the Vermont H.Q.: (802)-862-1505, info@berniesanders.com.
P.S. If you haven't already, please donate $8 (or whatever you can) TONIGHT, because the campaign needs you to donate before the end of the latest FEC reporting period. Here’s the link: secure.actblue.com/... Thank you!
