Indisputable Evidence?!

Mon Dec 08, 2003 at 11:54:21 AM PDT

[Hillary] repeatedly dismissed questions about whether she might, by some fluke, run as a presidential or vice presidential candidate in the 2004 election.

''No, no. I've said no, no, no, no,'' Clinton said on NBC, after being grilled about whether she would step in if the Democratic nominee faltered next year or suffered in public opinion polls.

On ABC's ''This Week,'' George Stephanopoulos asked whether she would consider running as a vice presidential candidate if the Democratic nominee's first choice dropped out.

''That is so far out of the ... realm of the possible. That is not going to happen,'' she said.

So, what do you think?  Does "no" really mean "no"?  Does "No, no.  I've said no, no, no, no" really mean ''No, no. I've said no, no, no, no"?

Should Hillary's most recent disavowals finally put to rest the question of whether or not she might try to be the Democratic nominee for President in 2004?
