Purdue University's Newspaper Gets it Almost Right

Purdue University's newspaper, The Exponent, ran an editorial on its online edition this morning, where they almost get it right.
Second presidential debate proves disturbing
Wait just a minute. I didn't know Sen. Ted Kennedy was running in this election.
During the second debate last Friday, President Bush wanted to send Sen. John KERRY to the ground with his slam-dunk exclamation that "Sen. Kennedy" (Bush mistakenly called Kerry Kennedy) was ranked the most liberal senator by the National Journal.
Repeat after me, Mr. President -- Kerry, Kerry, Kerry. Go home, look in the mirror, say it over again and maybe you can get Kerry's name right in the next debate. Maybe.

Ben Hanley is a sophomore in the School of Management at Purdue. His article really is worth a look. He talks about his initial trepidation, and the general poor excuse for debate that happens in these races.
After that though, he lays the smacksown on Bush and affirms that Kerry is the man for the job.
Later on in the debates, a question was posed for Bush concerning prescription drugs that are being imported from Canada. This is when all of us in the room just started laughing and couldn't stop until the segment was over. Bush is waiting for the approval of prescription drugs importation from Canada in December. He is taking his time because he wants to make sure that the drugs "cure you instead of kill you." That's the punchline. Are we adding Canadians on our long list of terrorist now? Are they plotting to kill the Americans?
No, but let's get serious here. Bush is a naturally talented...at being a comedian.
But my friends and I agreed that we want a real president. Kerry may just be best thing going for our country right now.
Has anyone else seen good articles in student newspapers in your areas?
