Redskins called for Illegal Procedure

Now this might be a stretch, but it's at least a little levity for a time that could maybe use some...
For those of you who followed this weekend's Redskins game against the Packers, you will recall that Green Bay got out to an early 17-0 lead, much like Kerry looked great in the early exit polls. Washington then came back to make it 20-14 in the 4th quarter, just as Bush rebounded in the electoral college. Now here's the kicker (no, not Ryan Longwell)...
...the Redskins then scored a touchdown to cap the comeback, making the score 21-20 with under 3 minutes to go. Ohio. But, wait! The touchdown got called back on an illegal procedure call, and on the next play the Packers made an interception, scored on the ensuing drive and won the game.
Again, this might seem like a stretch, but if life imitates sports, like we all know it always does, this portends that Bush's victory in Ohio will be called back for illegal procedure and Kerry will win a glorious victory, and preserving the decade old-tradition of the Redskins electoral predicitiveness.
On a slightly more serious note - if this election does not end tonight or tomorrow, and we do end up waiting 11 days or whatever, that's our window as I see it. That's our chance to nail the GoOPers for any fraud or intimidation or any other infractions they've committed, in Ohio, Florida or elsewhere, regardless of the final provisional ballot count. As long as Ohio is not in the bag the blood is still running in the veins of the Kerry campaign and let's see if we can't pull this one out Brett Favre style.
