2006 Midterms--THE "470" CLUB: $470 in 470 days for 470 Congressional seats

So we want to accomplish something in the 2006 midterm election? Let's put our money where our anger is right now.

We want control of Congress. We want every race competitive in 2006. We want to see our community committed to the big picture; a vital, powerful opposition to BushCo's last two dreadful years in office.

How to support this?

435 House seats plus 35 Senate seats equals 470. For 470 days before the midterms, we pledge $1 a day. The "470" Club is born.

I've got no skills to see to the mechanics of this fundraising, but that's the beauty of y'all here at Kos . . . somebody's gonna figure out the best way to do this right here on this thread.
