MoveOn moved wrong

I have gotten into a discussion about the Richard Clarke moveon ad in one of the other threads and wanted to gauge reaction. I have decided that my money will not be going to MoveOn based on their flippant response to Richard Clarke when he asked that they remove the ad featuring him.

I think Richard Clarke has stepped way out on a limb and done something for America. Not to destroy Bush or to help Democrats. The ad just makes him look like some kind of Democratic shill and I think he deserves better than that.

If he really does'nt want the ads to be shown could be debateable, but he has publicly distanced himself from them and I think it would look good for MoveOn to respect his wishes...at least until after all the dust has settled and he has been able to control the message that he is sending about what has happened and what he believes should happen.
