Kerry Ad I'd like to see responding to Cheney

One thing I'm really gathering from reading Clinton's book is that all throughout his career he did a great job of hitting back when an opponent attacked him.  He would take the specific attack and really turn it around to hurt the attacker.  In that vane...
Kerry speaking to camera...  (He could have Laura Bush sitting next to him with a painful grimace on her face, but since I didn't think that looked good in W's last ad, let's not use her in this one either.)

"The other week I stated that I believed I can fight a more effective, more thoughtful, more strategic, more proactive, more sensitive war on terror ...

"Dick Cheney decided to take one word from that - the word sensitive - and use it out of context to give the impression I would not be tough in the war on terror.

"As one who used 7 separate deferrments to get  out of going to Vietnam as a young man, Dick Cheney is not one to be giving me lectures on how to wage war.

"By sensitive I mean that I would fight a better war on terror that makes sure the facts are straight before sending our soldiers in harms way.  And makes sure our young men and women in service have the equipment, support and numbers they need to minimize their risks.  And to make sure there is a plan to win the peace.

"Wasn't it this kind of deception and selective use of facts that got this administration in trouble in the first place?

"Don't you think these misleading strategies are a bad way to pursue the Presidency and Vice Presidency and an especially bad way to lead the global war against terrorism?

"My name is John Kerry and I approve this message because I will lead a more effective, more truthful war against terrorism."
