They're Politically Corrupt
You would think they'd be self conscious after the smackdown they got in Tuesday's NY Times, or maybe they'd get a hint from their plummeting ratings; But No - they're backing Shrub all the way.
O'BRIEN: All right, we are listening to Max Cleland, former senator from Georgia and former Lieutenant Jim Rassmann, a former Green Beret whose life was saved by John Kerry in the Mekong Delta in 1969. Although, that is a point of dispute, given what has all transpired here with the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth.
Then at the end of Max Cleland's Press conference, the White House demanded an immediate on-air correction -- and cnn did it !!! And then cnn threw in a plea for forgiveness !!!.
It's Fucking incredible. They're a Fucking disaster. They're beyond incompetent, their acts are intentional [Letterman Faked the Video; Denying WH involvement in the Letterman incident; Michael Moore should be Dead; Scumbag Bob Dole; and they're still peddling O'Neill's Lies after he's been debunked].
See more below
For those tuning in late, cnn allowed Scumbag Bob Dole to smear Kerry on Sunday and then again on Monday - it was so horrid, they were rebuked by NYT. Then on Tuesday, their resident Assassin Daryn Kagan question whether Kerry won any Medals ! Well it continued Wednesday:
And you know, after all the Veterans who came forward this week, including the Editor from the Chicago Tribune; after all the Navy Documents, from separate boats came to light; after all the front page stories in major newspapers that backed Kerry's account; after cnn's own Aaron Brown played a tape exposing O'Neill as a Liar; after all the inconsistencies and Flip Flops by the Liars which have come out; and after being bashed by NYT and The Daily Show, cnn's Air Heads are still oblivious and they still hold on to O'Liar's version of events.
O'BRIEN: You know, it is interesting to me that Max Cleland and company say they want to end this whole issue, and yet perpetuate it by doing just what we see now. So, clearly the Kerry campaign, for whatever reason, wants to keep this thing alive.
DOUGHERTY: Well, yes. You know, you'd have to -- as a natural question, Miles. And it would seem that they continue -- the Kerry campaign continues to say we want to get back to the issues, we don't want to talk about this anymore. And yet, this is obviously getting a lot of media coverage, coming right here.
So, you can -- I guess you'd have to ask the campaign what's the rationale behind this.
O'BRIEN: All right. Live pictures there, Max Cleland in his rented Cadillac as he prepares to disembark the vehicle, get into his wheelchair, and make his way over to reporters.

I should tell you, we got an e-mail from somebody at the George Bush campaign, Taylor Griffin, saying -- we'll just quote, I'm going to read it to you.
This is so frustrating. We would never go on the air and purposing, knowingly, and willingly lie. We are anchors correct.
"Can the president say it more clearly: He honors Senator Kerry's service, and all the groups, including this one, should stop advertising."
That's from Taylor Griffin with the Bush-Cheney campaign.
I can't tell what the E-Mail was in complaining about. The best I can tell it was to this report earlier in the hour:
JILL DOUGHERTY, CNN CORRESPONDENT: You know, Kyra, I'll tell you, this is really developing into quite a little story. Again, Max Cleland, former senator, on his way, and now in Texas here, trying to deliver a letter from veterans who are senators to President Bush.
And in that letter, they are saying, President Bush, you should denounce this Swift Boat Veterans for Truth who have been putting together those attack ads. So, Max Cleland takes the letter to the ranch, wants to meet with the president.
Everything Cnn said during the 1:00 pm EDT hour seemed more then favorable to bush, and at the same time harsh on Kerry - the Mother Fuckers even called it a circus twice.
This is very interesting at two levels: First, cnn felt compelled to respond to the Bush E-mail immediately and they felt that they needed to satisfy the Bush camp's concerns; Second, is there any evidence that the Kerry camp contacts cnn over inaccuracies and lapses in balance? And if they do, why doesn't cnn care, because cnn engages in the same pattern over and over again..
