After Fitzmas Comes Terror Alert!

I'm sorry to burst your Fitzmas bubble, but expect a brand new terror alert right after those indictments are handed down. "Enemies" of America will emerge from the deep shadows of the underground, and "specific threats" will be uncovered. Shadowy figures will use baby carriers as weapons to try to kill us all. Be afraid! Be very afraid! Sound familiar? Wait for it!

If there is one thing we can trust the Bush administration to do reliably well, it is to use terror to deflect from it problems and incompetence. This time will be no different. A few weeks ago, Keith Obermann of MSNBC chronicled a string "coincidences" between Bushie bad news and terror alerts. Bush has this down to a science, you could almost bet your firstborn on it.
