Life In Hell -- Classic/timely strip from 1991 (w/pic)

Wed Oct 05, 2005 at 04:37:04 PM PDT

I thought that with all the rumors on the internets tonight about the possibility of 22 indictments coming from Fitzgerald, it's the perfect time to post my favorite Life in Hell comic.

The paper at my university, The Auburn Plainsman (War Eagle!), used to run the Life in Hell comic strips. I clipped my favorites, including this one, but I managed to find a clean copy on the 'net to show y'all.

This piece is Matt Groening's brilliant re-write of the Pledge of Allegiance.

Comic on the flip...

I pledge impertinence to the flag-waving
of the unidicted co-conspirators of America
and to the Republicans for which I can't stand
one abomination, underhanded fraud
indefensible
with liberty and justice, forget it.
