A Soldier's Return, to a Dark and Moody World
This story was published in the New York Times yesterday, documenting the day-to-day life of a 24-year-old Sergeant, wounded and blinded in Iraq. This is one horrible story. To multiply this by thousands is just heartbreaking.
George Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, and all the rest of these bastards should be dragged to this man's home, and forced to listen to his story. They should then explain to him exactly why the sacrifice of his sight was a price worth paying.
The spinelessly blind are those Americans who would willingly allow these people to remain in power and continue to destroy lives this way.
