Will Bush Serve? Ignores Call for Jury Duty

According to the Waco Tribune, George W. Bush, potential juror number 286, failed to respond to a summons to report Monday for jury duty.

White House spokesman Allen Abney said the commander-in-chief was not aware of the situation: "The White House has not received the summons yet." (hmm, GWB unaware of the situation?  Sounds familiar ...)

White House press secretary Scott McClellan says the McLennan County court has been called and told the president has other commitments on Monday. McClellan says the White House will work with the court to reschedule Bush's jury duty.  Just like when he rescheduled his training drills for the Texas Air National Guard, right?
