It's easy to see Howard Dean winning a large plurality of delegates, while other candidates hold lesser-sized blocks. So-called super-delegates might swing the vote. Or a candidate (or 2) with enough votes to push Dean over the top brokers a deal. Or maybe Boston will be a massacre.
So who can seal the deal for Dean? Which Democrat has enough gravitas to say the game's over, and let's get behind our candidate? Al Gore has spoken at moveon.org with incredible speeches about our country's situation. His ideas about Iraq and BushCo deceit are quite aligned with Howard Dean's.
Dean is the ultimate anti-Clintonista. Al Gore has no love for his former boss. If he spoke with the same seriousness and reasoning as he has at moveon.org, he might give a speech declaring that Dean's large plurality required Democrats to accept Dean, and move on to the real job of defeating BushCo. Would that would be the tipping point?
Possible?
