Zell Miller Hospitalized

GAINESVILLE, Ga. (AP) ? Former Sen. Zell Miller fell ill while giving a speech Thursday night and was taken to a hospital emergency room. His wife said he had flu-like symptoms.

Miller, 73, was in stable condition at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, according to nursing supervisor Tammy Harbison. She said she did not know what made Miller ill.

For some reason, I can't help but think that this might be the result of some degenerative disease that he's had over the past years, which was responsible for his trend to radical Bush-ism and his surreal "duel" moment during the RNC.

Needless to say, I wish him all the best as a FORMER senator and governor from the State of Georgia, and hope he will return to the best of health as soon as possible.
