I know this isn't proper diary material, but I wanted people to see it. I have to go back to work until about 5:00 PM, but when I get back I'll delete it.
This should be good. Chertoff is the "guest" on Ask the White House today at four. The forum is described as
an online interactive forum where you can submit questions to Bush administration officials and friends of the White House.
If you click on the above link, you can submit your questions. It'll be interesting to see which questions they choose to answer.
I can't imagine Chertoff allowing the more contentious and angry questions about how prepared they were for this, or how the monies once targeted for the Army Corps of Engineers plans to shore up the levees was diverted to his department and the war in Iraq contibuted to the situation on the ground at this moment.
They will eventually put the "coversation" up on the site.
Also, the video of McClellan's press briefing today should be up sometime soon.
Thanks for the patience with this feeble diary entry.
