This diary breaks a few rules

but since it's Friday night and I've had a few drinks, it's ok, right? right?!

Well, how about some good news! My Hannity, Fox News obsessed, Republican-since-9-11 mom is finally beginning to come to the realization that things in Iraq aren't going quite as swell as President Bush and company would have her believe. Apparently the massive death toll in recent days (years?) is finally trumping the school painting stories, go figure. At least the cognitive dissonance force field is showing somes signs of weakness, that's all I can ask for.

What about you guys, any encouraging stories of wingnut family or friends coming around on Iraq or the economy (the economy, something else where reality is starting to take precedent over propaganda with her)? if, unfortunately not, feel free to use this space to vent about said associates and or relatives that still stubbornly reside in lala land. It's good to get it off your chest. :)
