For Glynis

By now, many of us have been watching Glynis' petition gain the 10,000 signatures she had hoped for.
If you are not familiar with the "Howard Dean Speaks for Me" petition, here's a link to her diary and the petition:

More below the fold...
Earlier today, Glynis wrote that she had to go to work and would not be able to keep up with the diary as it approaches the 10,000 signatures she had hoped for. I'm sure it must be difficult for her to be there and, Glynis, if you're peaking in from time to time, I wanted to write this diary for you.
Glynis, you have earned the right to live in a democracy. I know that the task you took on 3 days ago has consumed your every moment, your every breath. It has been alot of work and it's been exciting. Those of us, who signed the petition, can only sit in gratitude to you for your hard work.
You get it. You understand that in order to preserve democracy, in order to keep democracy alive, it must be fed, not by it's politicians but by its people and, more important than Howard Dean, is his message which is precisely that.
I would love for you to come home from work and to find this diary filled with words of thanks. You have been the catalyst for our voice. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
