I like to think I have an unusual perspective on the way repugs think, since I grew up in an ultra-conservative household and was once a YR. But that was when I was young and naive and my beliefs were whatever the people around me believed. I was taught not to question authority, but deep down inside, I knew it was my right and my job to question authority. So after my world was turned upside down and I finally saw the truth and saw the hearts of the so-called "Religious Right" I knew they were a bunch of liars and hypocrites who didn't give a flying fuck about anybody but themselves and how they appeared to the other people around them. It's all a big show.

I believe these people, for the most part, are the scum of the earth and only pretend to be righteous as long as it fits their agenda and helps keep up the facade. But in their hearts, they truly hate us. They truly hate "liberals" and think we are scum of the earth because we care about the greater good instead of only ourselves.

So why is it that this bumper sticker that I saw today really got to me? And how can we combat this fucked-up attitude?

Here's what I saw on a car today:

Fucking asshole. This shit for brains probably wouldn't even have a job if it weren't for one of us "Godless Liberals" and they definitely wouldn't have any benefits if it weren't for us.

Dumbasses. All of them at RightNation.US.

So is this what they're spewing now because of what the Big, Fat Idiot said? They are up in arms about what Dean said about not making an honest living, yet it's perfectly fine for them to make a generalization about us that is even worse?

For their fucking information, most people on "relief" are liberal because of the way they are treated by the conservatives and because of the lack of opportunities to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. It is truly a trap. I have been on welfare before and it sucks ass. Of course now I'm in the middle-class tax bracket that's taking the worst hit, but it doesn't bother me to pay taxes except that I'm paying a higher percentage than all those "Good 'Ol Boys" who DON'T make an honest living.

Ugh, I have got to calm down! I wanted to leave a message on this asshole's car. I think I'll go take a picture of it. Grrrrrrrr!

Does anybody have anything helpful and constructive to say about this? I am too pissed off right now to think straight.
