So say that the latest CBS-NY Times poll is the beginning of a long downward spiral for Kerry. ...Is it possible that the Republican attacks on Kerry will be SO successful that Democrats are ready to abandon Kerry at the convention? Could there be a delegate revolt on a wide enough scale that John Edwards would end up receiving the nomination? Or could the discontent with Kerry be so irrepressible that Kerry is pressured to withdraw from the race, again with Edward being nominated in his place? Is such a scenario even possible?

Uh huh, since Dems have such a long tradition of abandonning their elected nominees at the Convention after a couple of bad poles. Could anything be dumber? When you run a blog, don't you have some responsibility to show a little discretion and not post the most dirt-stupid comments from your readers?
Even Sullivan wouldn't be this desperate. Try telling yourself 10 times that Mickey Kaus gets PAID for this.
On the other hand, if this is the best Kaus can do slamming Kerry, it should be a fun election.
