It's official: dKos 3.0 is a disaster

Sat Jun 25, 2005 at 11:52:33 AM PDT

When I first heard that dKos was going to be redesigned I was excited.  I'm a liberal - I embrace change and I was hoping that several minor issues with the old site would be fixed.

I logged in yesterday to find that the ads were now in the middle of the page, the margins were a barren waste land, the front pagers were screaming, and Kos was now spelled with a l{.  No problem, I thought, changes are bound to involve some disappointment.  I was sure I would get used to it and even learn to love the unique layout.

The disaster below the fold
All was going well, and then I noticed this:

Do you see it?  Look closer:

Still no?  Look at the arrows:

There it is in Orange and White - The left side is longer then the right, they're not at the same angle and the left side isn't even straight!

I was hoping the new design would be a bold and exciting, but like the title says:  dKos 3.0 is a disaster.

Update [2005-6-25 15:27:13 by sgilman]: Okay, I didn't think anyone could be so picky about something so small(I'd hate to meet some of the people you must run into), but I guess I was wrong. It's satire - and bad satire at that.

You can't say I didn't warn you ahead of time. :

To each their own (4.00 / 9)

I, on the other hand, prefer diaries with no point, satire so bad only the author gets it and links that don't work.
