I know, I know: if Bush were wise, he wouldn't be Bush and we wouldn't be where we are today.
BUT, if Bush were wise he would respond to Ms. Sheehan by implementing a U.S. version of India's Daily Darshan
"And he<Nehru> never forgot that he derived his authority from the people of India; not only was he astonishingly accessible for a person in his position, but he started the practice of offering a Daily Darshan at home for an hour each morning to anyone coming in off the street without an appointment, a practice that continued until the dictates of security finally overcame the populism of his successors."
Is this possible to do in the U.S.? Sure, why not. Would Bush ever do it? Surely not.
Instead he has a Daily Darshan with his bed, his donors, his Schwinn, his pork BBQ, his brush, his little leaguers and his private G-d.
