Thank goodness there are still patriotic Americans brave enough to stand up to elitist hypocrites. The good folks at the
Competitive Enterprise Institute, with the support of Matt Drudge, have launched a Swift Boat style attack on Al Gore to coincide with the opening of Gore's movie, An Inconvenient Truth.
Oh, sure, Gore SAYS he's spreading the word on the dangers of CO2 emissions. But did you know that the former Vice President has himself emitted CO2? Yup. He has. Lots of it, too.
The scandal continues on the flip.
From
Drudge:
Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" asks, "Are you willing to change the way you live?" The Gore documentary and new book of the same name go on to suggest ways that people can reduce their carbon footprint, yet Mr. Gore has clearly not taken his own message to heart. He even says in the documentary that he has given his global warming Power Point slide show more than 1,000 times all around the world.
More than a thousand times! Can you imagine the emissions? But does the damage this scoundrel inflicts upon the earth stop him? Of course not.
Myron Ebell, a brave, patriotic American and crusader against liberal hypocrisy, sees through Gore's so-called concern for the future of the earth. Says Myron, who moonlights as CEI's director of energy and global warming policy: "All the evidence suggests that Mr. Gore is an elitist who passionately believes that the people of the world must drastically reduce their energy use but that it doesn't apply to him."
I'm with you, Myron. Has Al Gore never heard of carrier pigeons? They were good enough to carry important messages for our ancestors. But that elitist Al Gore has to get on airplanes and carry the message himself. Absolutely shameful. Just goes to show you can't trust a guy who sighs during a debate.
