One of the perks of conducting the Roll Call Project during the spring is that I know where all yous guys live. Well no, not really. I mean, I suppose I could go to Puerto Rico and start touring the commonwealth shouting Armando's name, but that wouldn't do me much good.
But the list of many Kossacks from all states and regions of this great country that resulted from the Project is available to you all for whatever purposes you want.
And I am sitting here after a long looonnnggg day at work sitting in on depositions, listening to "Dreams" by Van Halen (my new yet old favorite song) reliving the convention in my head and thinking ahead to Election Night and possibly, dare I say, the Inaugural and I am thinking to myself: Kossacks across this country should start planning get togethers and parties if they are so inclined.
This is a community after all. We all share many goals. And there is nothing more that I want to do than celebrate with my fellow comrades in arms come Kerry's multi-state sweeping landslide in November (fingers crossdfdkfd [mental note it is hard to type with fingers crossed]).
Now I know many of us will be working on campaigns and thus otherwise committed. Some of us have our own blogs that must be maintained on election night or debate nights. Indeed they are still others who have children and thus can't get away easily. Still there are others who feel that they are somehow too old or not cool to hang out. No problem.
I am just throwing it out there. Some of us have had success with Kossack parties in Northern California, New York, Pittsburgh, D.C., and Philadelphia. So I put it up to all of you who are interested in and willing to help out in organizing such events in as many cities as possible.
We should start planning now, so that is why I am mentioning it now.
