Bush announces, "I'm not responsible!"

Bush went before the cameras today after getting briefed about Hurricane Rita.  With Chertoff standing behind him, he patiently explained how he was a mere observer and how state and local officials would take the blame for any screw-ups.

Did you watch the video?  Bush said he was going to Texas to "watch" how state and local officials coordinate with the Feds.  The Feds are only there to assist state and local officials!  

Then Bush said he was going to Norcom in Colorado to observe and learn.

WTF?

This guy is the chief executive officer of the United States.  He is the Commander in Chief!  And at this time of crisis, he is going to watch, observe and learn!  HE'S SAYING ON TV THAT HE IS NOT IN CHARGE, IT'S NOT HIS RESPONSIBILITY, AND HE PROMISISES HE WON'T GET IN THE WAY!  

This is our Commander in Chief, promising he won't get in the way! He'll only watch and learn!

Disgusting.

Watch, it will turn out that NO ONE is in charge, just like in New Orleans.  Pathetic.
