That was the image I was left with after going out of the office today to grab some lunch. Something about sitting in the car with the radio on, under a tree, listening to somebody talk about stuff you just don't think about otherwise...
Anyhow, it's an interesting metaphor for the presidential selection process. This guy catches moths and somehow gets them set up on a very high resolution flatbed scanner and creates a book of the images. And then Terri Gross talks to him about what they look like. On the radio. Go figure.
We get this wonderful description of our candidates, just like the poor moths-- a whole lot of detail about the parts, little comprehension of the whole.
