Lamont rocked his closing statement (that's all I know so far)

As you may have heard, the Lamont-Schlesinger-minor party candidate debate occurred today in Hartford. It was closed to any cameras or recording devices, but there is a clip from a backstage monitor at [

There is a funny exchange between Schlesinger and Lamont about Joe that is quoted at the
blog.
Schlesinger: If you had someone doing a job for eighteen years, and after eighteen years, their record was one of complete failure, what would you do? What do you think should happen with that person?. . . Ned, you're a businessman: what would you say about someone like that?
Lamont: I'd say, "It's time to go"
There is a great clip of Ned speaking about Homeland security. But the best part of the clip was of Ned's closing statement. It was a homerun in my biased opinion.
It's not simply, Senator, that you supported the Bush/Cheney agenda, but it's when the loyal opposition stands up and concerned citizens say we have a better way - we've got to ask the tough questions. There must be a better alternative. It seems Senator Lieberman is always questioning their motives. Calling them partisan. Calling them negative. Doubting their patriotism. Saying that their undermining the credibility of the President. We got into this mess in Washington not because we are asking too many questions, but because we are asking too few. On Novemer 7th, we're going to start asking the tough questions again, the first one being, can we do better?
Just awesome.
