Montana State Univ. Dates unknown. MoE 4.8% (No trend lines)

Burns (R) 35
Tester (D) 46

Now, to temper some enthusiasm, I recall this poll having bizarre results in the past, something Matt Singer confirmed:

The MSU-Billings poll is always a bit of an outlier. In 2004, the poll showed Schweitzer beating Brown by some ridiculous margin, leaving Brown's campaign manager nearly stuttering when asked to address the bad poll numbers. Looking at the poll later, it appeared that the callers had only asked whether people would vote for Schweitzer or Brown, excluding first names and party affiliation (not a very good polling question).

And most of the undecideds in the poll are Republican. So if Burns brings home his people, it's bad news for Tester.

So bottom line -- good numbers, some scary internals, and a weird poll with a history of bizarre results.
