My Promise

It should have been said months ago, if not more, but today will do. Here's my promise: I will not say one negative thing about a democratic candidate or their campaign until after election day. Not one. I don't care if a candidate chooses to stay home and watch TiVoed episodes of "Dancing with the Stars".

It's time to fall in line, people. In every race in every town, county, district, precinct, state, village, clubhouse, whatever. The Republican party has proven that they are unable to lead. (Need an example? How about 73+ dead soldiers in Iraq this month?) Nothing less than our way of life is at stake and, in that context, the worst Democrat is better than the best Republican ANYWHERE. Voice your concerns on 11/8. I don't want to hear any "lesser of two evils" bullshit, either. NOT. ONE. WORD.

Get off your ass to either:

A) pull your wallet out of your pocket or

B) to get out and volunteer or

C) do both.

After I hit "submit", I'm going to Act Blue. No allocations. Just some cash for ALL OF THE NJ CANDIDATES (or fill in your State). Then I'm going to go and pick up some more lawn signs to keep in my trunk. Every freaking time I'm stuck at a light, I'm going to get out and plant one of those suckers. Then I'm going to contact Paul Aronsohn's office (he's my guy. fill in the blank with yours) and ask for a list of numbers to call. If I can find time to post here, I can find 15 minutes or a half hour a day to make some calls.

Come on people. Real change is there for the taking. Let's not look back on November 7th with one regret. Not one.

To those of you in NJ05- consider coming to the event in Ridgewood on Sunday. Paul could use your help and I'd love to meet you.
