M-D polls 10 Senate races, 4 governors races

I've noted in the past that Mason-Dixon is the best polling outfit in the biz, so this batch of polls commissioned by McClatchy/MSNBC are a great snapshot of the state of the race. Some of these I've already blogged, since they've trickled out since Friday, but no matter. Here's all of them:

Mason-Dixon. 9/22-28. Likely voters. MoE 4% (Trend lines dates below).

California (Governor, No trend lines)

Schwarzenegger (R) 49
Angelides (D) 36

Maryland (Senate, Governor, No trend lines)

Cardin (D) 47
Steele (R) 41

Ehrlich (R) 43
O'Malley (D) 47

Missouri (Senate, No trend lines)

Talent (R) 43
McCaskill (D) 43

Montana (Senate, 5/22-24 results)

Burns (R) 40 (42)
Tester (D) 47 (45)

New Jersey (Senate, No trend lines)

Menendez (D) 44
Kean (R) 41

Ohio (Senate, 5/24-26 results)

DeWine (R) 43 (47)
Brown (D) 45 (36)

Pennsylvania (Senate, Governor, No trend lines)

Santorum (R) 40
Casey (D) 49

Rendell (D) 54
Swann (R) 37

Rhode Island (Senate, Governor, No trend lines)

Chafee (R) 41
Whitehouse (D) 42

Carcieri (R) 50
Fogarty (D) 34

Tennessee (Senate, 7/17-19 results)

Corker (R) 42 (49)
Ford (D) 43 (36)

Virginia (Senate, 9/5-7 results)

Allen (R) 43 (46)
Webb (D) 43 (42)

Washington (Senate, No trend lines)

Cantwell (D) 50
McGavick (R) 40

Of the 10 most competitive Senate races, we're not trailing in a single one. Then again, our candidates still have to get over that 50 percent hump, no small feat. This one ain't over. Not by a long shot.
