It's time.

Time to take a stand and stand up for what you believe. That's what Eric Massa has been doing all these many months, as we've followed his grassroots campaign - a real-life "Mr. Deeds Goes to Washington" story.

Now, in these final weeks, I would like to invite you to a timely and historic evening on Monday, October 23, for Eric Massa, the inimitable and original "Fighting Dem" and Candidate for New York State Congress in the "Fighting 29th District" - an event to be held here in New York on the West Side of Manhattan.

Eric will meet with us one final time, direct from the Lake District of Corning, NY, in his strong and hard-hitting battle to take the Hill and take back the House.

Standing with the former Naval Commander and distinguished veteran will be our Special Guest Speaker, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi. Also in attendance will be The Hon. Carolyn Maloney, The Hon. Jerrold Nadler, and The Hon. Anthony Weiner.

Eric is a strong, forthright, and determined man of integrity, who has served our military and country well. As Special Assistant to General Wesley K. Clark, when General Clark was Supreme Allied Commander of NATO, Eric was the very symbol of "never-give-up" courage and strength.

Eric will represent our people as a sincere and honest voice in Congress. We've hungered for uncorrupted voices and hearts such as Eric's. Now is the time for everyone to pull together and stand tall for Eric and the Democratic party.
