Other than MTV's Bitchslap article, I haven't seen any coverage of Jon Stewart's appearance on Crossfire -- there may have been diaries pointing out instances where print or electronic media outlets covered it, but I missed them.
Thus, I was interested to find this from the student newspaper at my alma mater, The George Washigtnon University Hatchet -- where Crossfire is shot.
It's not a great article, but I did learn a couple of things from it:
-- CNN refused to respond to the reporter on the substance of the comments (maybe that explains why they don't criticize Bush, they think ignoring substantive questions is a legitimate way to hold power).
-- The argument apparently continued during commercial breaks.
-- Tucker Carlson said afterwards that it was the most uncomfortable 30 minutes of television (to which I say, too bad Dick.)
