Remember that Rasmussen poll yesterday giving Lieberman a 48-40-9 lead? It had Lieberman bleeding Democrats. In this latest Q-poll, Lieberman is holding steady with Democrats and bleeding independents.

Quinnipiac U. 10/24-30. Likely voters. MoE 3.2% (10/17-19 results)

Lieberman (CfL) 49 (52)
Lamont (D) 37 (35)
Schlesinger (R) 8 (6)

Democrats
Lieberman 37 (36)
Lamont 56 (55)
Schlesinger 3 (0)

Republicans
Lieberman 73 (70)
Lamont 6 (9)
Schlesinger 19 (18)

Independents
Lieberman 51 (58)
Lamont 36 (32)
Schlesinger 6 (5)

I don't think anyone knows how to properly poll this race.

Bottom line? Lieberman has a real lead. The race is tightening. Lamont has the better field operation.

Can Lamont close enough of the gap where his field operation pushes him over the line? That's the real question. I suspect it'll be a nail bitter.
