no, this isn't some diary about how Bush has become a dictator, but rather, what would we do if we were in the same situation as Iraq?
Lets start our story in the elections of 4002. Candidate Bill W. Nader wins the Presidency. Soon after winning election, President Bill W. Nader declares the constitution null and void, and annoints himself dictator for life.
Obviously not many people are happy about this. The dictator starts killing off loud-mouthed religious, political, and civil rights leaders such as Jerry Fallwell, Jessie Jackson, Howard Dean, and Dick Cheney.
Continued after the jump..
Very soon, the "Republican Party Alliance' rises up and says "We and our relgious zealouts and our NRA card carrying, gun toating followers will end this oppression!" The RPA army marches and is gloriously obliterated by the American army.
A few years go by, and the "Democratic Party Coalition" decides "hey! we take take out this bugger!" They gather a force and march, only to meet the same fate as the RPA.
No one else tries to mount any serious resistence after two powerful domestic uprisings have been easily crushed. The Bill W. Nader starts killing people for the heck of it, and just has a whole bunch of fun for himself.
Suddenly, the European Union says "hey! We don't like the fact that this dictator is mistreatin' the American people! We need to invade and help 'em out!"
So the Coalition of the European Union starts bombing the US to soften up our forces. Bombs drop on New York, LA, Chicago, Houston, and most other major US cities, potentially killing tens of thousands of civilians.
The Coalition then sends in their Armies. Weary, and with no morale, the american army flees into the hills upon the very sight of the mighty French flag.
After not too long, Americans who are like "we don't need any help from the french!" and the now re-organized american army start fighting a resistence.
Over the course of the battle, Chicago is totally destroyed, and at least 10 million American civilians are killed by one side or another.
The Coalition tries to make the American people happy by letting them vote in an election with 100 people that they don't know listed on the ballot.
In the meantime, most Americans still don't have water or power.

The thing one must ask ourselves...even if we were put in a situation where someone like that took over...would we be all that happy if a foreign nation intervened? And even if we did, would we stand up for that many casulties? I'm thinking no.
