Canvassing Open Thread

Since so many of us are out going door-to-door, and probably dead tired after doing so, let's blow off some steam and trade field stories.
The good, the bad, the ugly. Those people you talk to that give you hope and get you through the day, the people that make you want to give up and move to another country, and those people that, well... make you wonder what's in the water.

I was out canvassing with Tony Michetti, State Representative candidate in the 108th district of PA, when I heard a rather loud exchange between him and the lady who had answered the door a few houses away from where I was. I asked him about it afterward, and he told me: "She knew me from my commercials and said she loved them and agreed with everything I had said. Then she asked if I was a Republican or Democrat. I told her I was a Democrat, and she said 'Get off my porch!'"

"Michetti... is he Sicilian? My ex-wife was Sicilian...we're all allowed to make one mistake in our lives."

So, anything interesting happen while you were canvassing today?
