Well, the toilet paper of record has done it again. On the front page of the Times - online and in print - there's a story about how the GOP wants to end the War in Iraq. What they don't tell you until you get about 3 paragraphs into the article is that the Dems want a timetable for getting out of Iraq, but not the GOOPers.

So if you're reading the headline, you think its just the GOP that wants out. But wait! It gets better!
More below the jump...
On the online front page of the Times, there is a breaking news box on the right which shows headlines from Reuters and AP. Well, if you looked there at 11:55 AM est, the AP headline reported that the GOP had defeated a proposal by the Dems to set a timetable for withdrawal. So that kind of contradicts what the Times GOP headline says. But wait! It gets even better!
If you go to the AP article and click on the article itself, the Times headline is The Senate approves GOP-backed Iraq proposal!

Actually, I just checked this, and they've changed the headline! Where are these guys from? As Brad Delong likes to say, "Why can't we have a better press corps?"
